" I got this because I don't feel safe driving on rainy or foggy days. I installed this light on on our car above the license plate and I was really surprised at how bright it is. This light covers a big area and is perfect for when it's really foggy because other vehicles can see it and not drive too close to you. A regular light doesn't cut through fog very well but this LED light can be seen far away. The light is in the shape of a long line and reaches all the way across the length of our car but you can adjust it to what you want. Great safety precaution and I feel a lot safer driving in the rain and fog." ★★★★★

I opted to use the straight line but I angled it like a slash (\)

installed on scooter. I opted to use the straight line but I angled it like a slash (\). the reason is that if I did horizontal lines, it would cross into the other lanes if I were to ride on the left or right. Better would be a wave design.
the light is not bright enough imo because the car behind would have their lights on that would negate it s effectiveness.

Laser light gets drivers attention.

After being rear ended twice while sitting in my Miata, I decided to add this laser. Both drivers said they didn't realize I had stopped.

Installing the laser was very easy. I tapped the power leads going to the license plate lights. I just cut those wires and connected in the laser. Then mounted it to plastic cover under the trunk lid that wasn't being used.

The laser images are very bright at night. I'm using the one with multiple laser dots, about 40, that hit the ground behind my bumper. Kind of looks like the car is dropping little dots of fire. LOL. Drivers seem to be backing off. A few do get closer once they realize nothing is there but light.

Daytime viewing is not very good. Maybe 4 dots can be seen, but I'm sure it's visible after going under an overpass. (I've added a 3rd brake light flasher and will also install additional brake lights.)

I did notice that the laser gives off a very bright glow depending on where you are standing behind my car. Some locations you can't see the glow, but others it's very bright. Changing the pattern and lowering the laser angle seems to help.
